In this module, learners will be introduced to the Promethean Learner Response System, component parts, benefits, and possible classroom applications. Learners will also be provided an overview of procedures for creating questions, using ActiVote/ActivExpression handheld devices to respond, and viewing results. Completion of this module is expected to take about 20 minutes.

This ten-minute video walks you through the procedures for creating a question using the Questions Wizard, adding page/question content, editing size and alignment, running a vote, and viewing results. This tutorial uses ActiVotes but the process is much the same for ActivExpressions.

There are several routes you can go to learn more about Promethean's LRS. The PDF document (first bullet) can be downloaded and viewed on your own classroom computer or your home computer.
